Seasonal transitions are a great opportunity to check in and notice our energy reservoirs. This can be an integral part of self-care throughout the workday and also help us find a routine that is more supportive of our energy expenditures in the new season.

Energy Check In
It's much easier to support yourself when you're aware of how you actually feel in the present. Try this one when you need a moment to tune in!
- Sit tall, close your eyes and place a hand on your heart.
- Take 3 slow breaths.
- Ask yourself these questions
- Is my energy level high, medium or low?
- If it's medium or low, what can I do to boost my energy with ease?
Boosting your energy level can be anything that brings you joy (petting your animal, taking a walk, etc.) and leaves you feeling refreshed for the moment.
Practice this check in a few times each day for a week and notice any patterns in not only your energy levels throughout the day, but also what "energy boosters" feel really helpful so you can keep them close when you need a reset!
