Myofascial Release (Monthly, Live on Zoom)
Give your body a break from the tension, trigger points and poor posture with Myofascial Release!
These monthly sessions offer an introduction to Myofascial Release (MFR), along with easy-to-use techniques for improving range of motion in the shoulders, back and hips. MFR uses props and body weight to encourage the connective tissue in your body to release tension allowing the tissues to glide freely and rehydrate.
PROPS NEEDED: one yoga block, one blanket and two myofascial balls
4th Wednesday at 3pm PDT // 4pm MDT // 6pm EDT
30 minutes | Live on Zoom | Replay link available to watch for one week
Single Session: $15
Quarterly Package (3 sessions): $35
Beginners welcome! In fact, these sessions are made for people who have never used MFR but want to learn ways to manage issues with muscle tension, postural patterns and good old fashioned knots on their own at home.
This is also a great way to reconnect to your body through movement, understand your range of motion and feel changes to areas that have felt "stuck" or "tight" right in class. No promises, but I've seen some amazing things happen for clients with MFR and experienced them myself. This is a practice I use at least weekly, sometimes daily depending on my activity level.
What's included in each session:
- At least 3 MFR techniques
- Stretches for areas addressed by the MFR techniques
- Access to me via email for questions
- Replay link available for one week following session (no downloads)
- August 24 -- MFR for Back
- September 28 — MFR for Legs & Hips
- October 26 -- MFR for Shoulders
